Abstract
Arbitrary inelastic transition form factors in the H atom have been exactly evaluated in closed form by a group-theoretical method. The final expression contains exactly known and representation functions and a single trivial finite sum. We also give the square of the form factors summed over and and obtain as a special case the result of Massey and Mohr.
