Abstract
Chromosome studies were made on a group of 33 radiation workers with a lifetime dose in excess of 10 r accumulated at a median dose rate of 1.4 r per year. The frequency of aneuploid cells, quasidiploid cells, dicentrics, and other exchanges is significantly higher in this group than in the population at large. The medical significance of an increase in the frequency of chromosme aberrations is still unknown. Keywords
