Abstract
The first example of a system is reported in which isotopic selectivity increases dramatically with increasing substrate pressure. Hexafluoroacetone is studied using infrared laser induced multiple photon decomposition. The parametric variations of pressure, laser frequency, and fluence to the reaction yield are reported.
