Abstract
A review of graphical angular momentum methods is presented. As an example, the graphical methods are applied to the coupling problem in the semiclassical first and second Born approximations with an electric multipole potential. The general nth‐order Born term is then considered. A simple expression is derived for the matrix elements of the anisotropic terms in the potential. The evaluation of the remaining integrals over time is discussed. Keywords
