Abstract
In the course of infection of brooding eggs with Sendai virus an increased liberation of lysomal hydrolases in the homogenates of chorioallantois membranes was confirmed. The association of a -naphthylacetate-splitting esterase and an aminopeptidase with the virus particles was demonstrated experimentally. The possible relationship of these findings with the hemolytic activity of Sendai virus is discussed in detail. Keywords
