Abstract
Clinical symptoms and diagnosis as well as the frequency and classification of chorioepithelioma in the male including the problems of ectopic chorioepithelioma were discussed. The proliferative potency and the importance of blood filled spaces in the tumor syncytium were stressed in regard to the normal placental growth. Besides the well-known excretion of large amounts of choriogonadotropin in the urine an increased excretion of pregnanediol was found.
