Abstract
The hyperfine spectra for the J=1 and 2 states of hydrogen fluoride have been observed by molecular beam electric resonance spectroscopy. The observed Stark coefficients are corrected for centrifugal distortion and yield a value for the polarizability anisotropy, . Differences in the values for the spin-rotation interactions are observed for the two rotational states and these are used to calculate and .
