Abstract
Under the experimental conditions of this study, the procedure of fasting rats 10 to 12 hours prior to obtaining liver and serum samples for lipid determinations affected the amount of lipid and cholesterol present in the tissues and serums. This procedure also affected the statistical interpretation of the results. Keywords
