Abstract
We have obtained self-consistent solutions to the hypernetted-chain integral equation in a planar surface geometry. The surface density profiles are monotonic with a constant negative gradient and show no surface structure. We compute the surface total correlation function and direct correlation function and also report on the temperature dependence of the surface tension, the position of the Gibbs dividing surface, and the surface width. Keywords
