Abstract
By the use of a milk diet a deficiency of Fe or Cu or both was produced in young rats. It was found that a deficiency of Fe or Cu or both lead to an anemia that is classified as microcytic and hypochromic. Evidence was presented to show that the feeding of Cu to milk anemic rats stimulates erythropoiesis. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
