Abstract
The authors extend a functional recursion method for random Ising chains to a system in which random interchain interactions are treated in a self-consistent field approximation. This extension is applied to a random-bond binary Ising system. The phase diagram is obtained as a function of bond strengths and bond concentrations. Keywords
