Abstract
Condensation of an α,β-unsaturated ketone, an aldehyde and trimethylsilyl phenyl sulfide or selenide, catalysed by a chiral (acyioxy)borane, and subsequent oxidative elimination gives the title adducts in high enantiomeric excess.Keywords
