Abstract
IN A preliminary report1 a film badge was described that gave quantitative information on both the amount and the quality of radiation received by personnel in the Department of Radiology of the Massachusetts General Hospital. It was also planned to see if these measurements could be correlated with changes in the peripheral blood picture over a long period. The present communication, however, brings this study to a close, because all personnel are now subject to exposures far below the effective biologic level, and no statistical evidence could be obtained that radiation was affecting, or had affected, the peripheral blood picture. . . .Keywords
