Abstract
FOTOS many-electron calculations have yielded electric quadrupole transition probabilities for the important Ca I 4s3d 1D to 4s2 1S (4575 AA) and Sr I 5s4d 1D to 5s2 1S (4961 AA) lines. In the length formulation, A(Ca)-60.2 s-1, A(Sr)=60.0 s-1. The existing discrepancy between theory and experiment in Ca is reduced but not eliminated. There are no previous results for Sr.Keywords
