Abstract

The allocation of

I = 0, 1

strangeness-(+1) baryons to the 700 and 1134 representations of

U (6) \otimes U (6)

is examined. The 1134 representation is favored if these baryons have

J^{P} = {\frac{1}{2}}^{-}, {\frac{3}{2}}^{-}

, respectively.
