Abstract
The problem of predissociation in a strong electromagnetic field is investigated in the context of a double-resonance scenario. A nonperturbative approach is followed. Numerical examples are given to show how the line shape is modified. The results are also discussed in connection with the possibility of a photocatalytic effect. Keywords
