An Electrical Analog for Analysis of Compartmental Biological Systems

Abstract
An electrical analog for analysis of compartmental biological systems is described and the theory discussed. Biological models may be simulated by an electrical network, and voltage curves from five of the six compartments may be observed simultaneously on the face of an oscilloscope. These voltage curves bear a scale relationship to the specific activity curves of the biological model. Applications are discussed.Keywords
