Abstract
Of 3202 sera from 37 spp. of s.-w. Georgia animals (exclusive of domestic rats) that were examined by the complement-fixation test for murine typhus, 47 positive sera were obtained from 12 spp. including Didelphis virginiana pigra, Sulvilagus floridanus mallurus, Sciurus niger niger, Mus musculus, Oryzomys p. palustris, Peromyscus g. gossypinus, P. p. polionotus, Sigmodon hispidus komareki, Cams familiaris, Mephitis elongata, Mustela nove-boracensis notia, and Cyanocitta cristata.Keywords
