Abstract
The power-dependent Bloch-Siegert effect has been observed in the Ramsey separated-oscillatory-field technique using slow neutrons. The variation of the shift with oscillatory power shows good agreement with previously determined theory. It should be noted that the explicit form of the shift in the Ramsey technique is quite different from that predicted for the simple Bloch-Siegert effect. Keywords
