Abstract
The authors provide a review of lessons learned in dealing with unique problems encountered while providing group counseling for adult patients with metastatic cancer. SUMMARY The value of this study for us is in the lessons learned in the process of the investigation. Specifically, in the future we will be better prepared to deal with the problems, institutional policies, personal biases, and logistics associated with forming, establishing, maintaining, conducting, and assessing the outcomes of group counseling with this kind of population. Keywords
