Abstract
Temporal and spatial evolutions of plasma parameters are measured during a cycle of electrostatic ion cyclotron oscillations driven by applying a positive potential to a small electrode immersed in a magnetized plasma. The measurements clarify a direct plasma response to the applied potential, confirming a mechanism of two-dimensional potential-driven oscillations. Keywords
