Abstract
Rat diaphragm muscle in Ringer soln. synthesizes glycogen from added glucose. In absence of added glucose it breaks down its glycogen stores. Addition of insulin causes an increased formation of glycogen; the addition of desoxycorticosterone completely inhibits glycogen formation. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
