Abstract
A monomode dye laser is used to excite the iodine fluorescence on a molecular beam. The relative fluorescence quantum yield of some hyperfine sublevels are measured for 49 rovibrational levels of the B3 Pi 0+u state. These quantum yields are found to be in agreement with the theory of the hyperfine predissociation and some values of the predissociation parameters are deduced. Keywords
