Abstract
Linoleic ester of high purity was shown to lower markedly the plasma cholesterol level of hypercholesteremic cholesterol-fed rats. It also lowered liver cholesterol of the rats receiving a low-fat diet (2%) but not those fed a high-fat diet (10% of linolate and 10% of hydrogenated coconut oil). Keywords
