Abstract
Noise loading analysis of a mhemoryless nonlinearity characterized by a Taylor series of finite order is presented in terms of the autocorrelation function of the input signal. For narrow-band application, an explicit expression for the noise power ratio at the output of the nonlinearity is given up to seventh-order characteristic. The corresponding 3-tone intermodulation distortion of type ω1 + ω2 - ω3 is also given for comparison. Keywords
