Abstract
N‐Protected 3‐HydroxypyrrolesStarting from symmetrical imides and (α‐haloacetylmethylene)‐phosphoranes 2, N‐acyl‐3‐hydroxypyrroles 4 have been prepared by an intramolecular Wittig olefination. The deacylation of 4 was proved using 4 b as an example.Keywords
