Abstract
The preparation and antigenic properties of estradiol 17-sulfate-bovine serum albumin conjugate in which the hapten is linked to the carrier protein through the C-6 position on the steroid nucleus are described. Antibody raised against antigen in the rabbit possessed extremely high specificity to estradiol 17-sulfate, exhibiting no significant cross-reactions with other estrogen, sulfates except estriol 17-sulfate (0.2%), and no cross-reactions with free estrogens, their glucuronides or other related steroids (< 0.001%).This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
