Abstract
Only rare cases of cryptococcal myositis have been previously reported in the literature. All of these cases have occurred in the setting of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. We report a case of cryptococcal myositis diagnosed premortem on a needle biopsy in a heart transplantpatient undergoing immunosuppressive therapy. Keywords
