Abstract
Hemochromatosis is a common and often underdiagnosed disease. Early diagnosis and treatment results in an excellent long-term prognosis. The development of a diagnostic genetic test has improved the feasibility of the goal of prevention of morbidity and mortality from hemochromatosis. Keywords
