Abstract
Using the field cycling technique, nuclear quadrupole couplings are measured on the first neighbouring shells of titanium, vanadium and iron in aluminium. The results confirm previous measurements in AlSc, AlMn and AlCr: they show a progressive attenuation of the quadrupolar couplings on the nuclei close to the impurity along the 3d series. Keywords
