Abstract
In an investigation involving 5,765 inseminations using the semen of 11 Holstein and 8 Guernsey bulls, no difference in fertility was found between dilution rates of 1:40, 1:60, 1:80, or 1 part of bull semen to 100 parts of the egg yolk-citrate diluent. At the highest rate of dilution an average of 12,836,000 spermatozoa were introduced in each ml. of diluted semen used for insemination. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
