Abstract
Raman and IR spectra of solid powders and solutions of paraquat and derivatives are reported. The fundamental vibrations of each compound have been assigned on the basis of group frequency correlations, isotopic substitution (shifts) and band intensities, as well as depolarization values when applicable.Keywords
