Abstract
The equal-time commutator between the space and time components of the electromagnetic current in spinor electrodynamics is calculated, to order , using the technique of Johnson, Low, and Bjorken; it is found to be a number. An argument is presented which indicates that the commutator is a number in all orders of perturbation theory.
