Abstract
Gerandas’s method for thrombin inactivation was used in these experiments. The activation energy of thrombin inactivation was calculated and found to be about 9000-14,000 cal. per mole. Heparin in vitro decreases the activation energy of thrombin inactivation, indicating that its action is the same as that of a catalyst. Keywords
