Abstract
Under the assumption that isospin is a good quantum number, the available data on the magnetic moments and the -decay values for isospin doublets have been analyzed. Systematic information concerning the distribution of angular momentum between the orbital angular momentum and the spin and between the protons and the neutrons of a nucleus has been obtained for the mirror nuclei. Favorable evidence for the mesonic exchange effect to the magnetic moment has been found.
