Abstract
The high-T c superconductivity of Yb x Er1-x Ba2Cu3O6+y has been investigated in terms of the X-ray powder diffraction pattern as well as of the resistive superconducting transition. X-ray structure shows that our samples have almost single-phase orthorhombic. T c varies linearly with respect to x, suggesting that Yb3+ or Er3+ is not irrelevant to the mechanism to determine T c.
