Abstract
The safety of a carbon hemoperfusion column, Haemocol, was studied in beagle dogs. Only minor changes in physiology, hematology and plasma chemistry were detected, except those associated with an improvement in clinical status. Hemoperfusion through this column is a safe and simple procedure, which merits evaluation in the treatment of severe drug overdose in man. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
