Abstract
Four bitter quassinoid glycosides, shinjuglycosides A, B, C, and D were isolated from seeds of Ailanthus altissima Swingle and their structures were established to be 2-β-d-glucopyranosides of chaparrin, shinjulactone A, amarolide 11-acetate, and amarolide, respectively, from spectral data and enzymatic or acid-catalyzed hydrolysis. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
