Abstract
Some topics relating to the development of new piezoceramic materials and their production are shortly reviewed. The discussion is concentrated on such factors affecting the electrophysical properties of piezoceramics as composition, crystallographic structure, doping additives, nonstoichiometry, lattice defects and their dependences on the conditions of material preparation. The electrophysical parameters of some piezoceramic materials that have been developed by the authors are given. Keywords
