Abstract
Seven young female rabbits fed 1 g. cholesterol and 0.5 g. inositol by capsule for 132 days had significantly less rise in serum total cholesterol, ester and lipid P levels than did 16 rabbits fed cholesterol alone. Similar but less striking results found in rabbits fed 2 g. cholesterol 1.2 cc. salad oil 1 g. inositol. Keywords
