Abstract
Single (0.25 mg/100 g body wt) or multiple (5 .times. 20 .mu.g/100 g) injections of testosterone proprionate were given to castrated male rats fed normally or restricted to a 50% intake. Serum FSH [follitropin] and LH [lutropin] levels were higher in the underfed rats and the effectiveness of testosterone propionate in suppressing serum levels of gonadotropins was increased by underfeeding. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
