Abstract
75 [mu]g. of citrovorum factor daily parenterally produced a maximal response in 2 cases of megaloblastic anemia in infancy. Two other patients responded to daily oral doses of 500 and 200 [mu]g. folic acid. The minimal effective dose of citrovorum factor is probably less than 75 [mu]g. when given parenterally and that of folic acid less than 200 [mu]g. orally. A comparison of the effectiveness of these 2 agents in this disease is not possible at this time. Keywords
