Abstract
A study of the effectiveness of methyl testosterone, growth hormone, as well as stilbestrol in counteracting the catabolic effects of methyl prednisolone (Medrol) indicated that they were ineffective in counteracting (1) inhibition of growth and (2) amount as well as collagen synthesis in the subcutaneously implanted Ivalon sponge. Keywords
