Abstract
It is reported that the percentage of the different Rh types amongst white Puerto Ricans differs from that of whites in New York City. 15% of the Puerto Rican sample were Rh0 individuals compared to 2.4% amongst the New York group, Rh2 also had a higher incidence in Puerto Rica, while type Rhi represented only 39.1% compared to 54.4% in New York. The difference in incidence of the Rh types is explained on the basis of some unknown mixture with the colored race, which differs in the incidence of the various Rh types from the white New York group. Keywords
