Abstract
The effects of pregnant mares'' serum on immature rats is not augmented by polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP). Chorionic gonadotropin effect is augmented whether PVP is given together with hormone in subcut. injn., or hormone given subcut. and PVP intraven. Max. effect occurred when hormone was dissolved in 25% PVP. Comparable effects occurred with immature female rhesus monkeys. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
