Abstract
Co-Re superlattices were prepared that show either antiferromagnetic or ferromagnetic coupling between the Co layers depending on the Re spacer thickness. Enhanced saturation magnetoresistance occurs for antiferromagnetically coupled layers. The saturation magnetoresistance decays exponentially with Re thickness but does not depend critically on the Co thickness. Keywords
