Isolation of a New Species of Aleurisma from Soil in Australia and New Guinea

Abstract
A new species, Aleurisma keratinophilum, has been isolated from 9 soil samples collected in New South Wales and New Guinea. It has been grown on hair and Sabouraud[long dash]cycloheximide[long dash]neomycin agar. Lesions were produced in guinea pigs by intradermal and subcutaneous inoculation.
