Abstract
A 3 × 3 matrix of pyroelectric transducers manufactured in thick-film technology by screen-printing a lead zirconate titanate paste on an alumina substrate is presented. A transimpedance amplifier has been designed to amplify the pyroelectric current signals. The responsivity and pulse response of the transducers have been characterised using a 635 nm diode laser and an Nd:YAG laser (λ = 1.06 µm), respectively. Keywords
