Abstract
Semiempirical Ne fluorescence yields for the vacancy configurations were deduced for by comparing satellite intensities in 30-MeV +Ne and 35-MeV +Ne x-ray and Auger spectra measured recently with high resolution. For some cases the semiempirical fluorescence yields are found to be significantly larger than theoretical values and to differ with previous semiempirical values for the higher degrees of multiple ionization.
