Charge Transfer in the Multiperipheral Model

Abstract
Predictions for the charge transferred from one c.m. hemisphere to the other are made based on a multiperipheral model containing exchanges. These predictions differ strongly from those of the fragmentation model. Thus measurements of transferred charge are sensitive tests for these rival models.
